DEFINITION : A figure of speech that compares an object as a human.
EXAMPLE : The cat smiled at him as if it knew about everyting that was going on to him.
SIGNIFICANCE : Personification is very important in a poem because it describes a non-human
object as a human, and it make the poem more vivid and live.
