DEFINITION : Things rhyme when the words end with a similar sound.
EXAMPLE : Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall;
All the King's horses, and all the King's men
Cannot put Humpty Dumpty together again.
SIGNIFICANCE : Rhymes are important in a poem because people understand
things better if the words rhyme. It is like kids learning
rhyming words so that they can memorize and understand
words.
